Pick & Paint at Stumpmunk Farms - August 25th, 2024

Join Leah Thompson of Stumpmunk Farms and Amelia Morton of Space In Common for an evening of watercolor painting at the flower farm!

We will begin with a tour of Leah's flower farm and she will lead the group in picking a small bouquet each which will become our painting subject for the evening! Amelia will give an introduction to watercolor followed by specific techniques for painting flowers. You get to decide if you want to paint the whole bouquet or focus on your favorite flowers - our goal is to soak in the beauty of midsummer flowers and let them inspire our work. 

Please note this is an outdoor workshop!
Smoke + heat backup plan: if the temperature is predicted to be over 95° or the AQI is unsafe to be outside, we will move the workshop to Space In Common. Leah will harvest flowers at her farm and bring them to the gallery for us to arrange and then paint.

This class us suitable for beginners and intermediate painters. 

All supplies and tools will be provided and you get to take your bouquet home!
